Product Overview

Not called Hinderer because you always get in the way, far from it.

This knife was designed from the ground up for Fire Rescue and Paramedics by the legendary Rick Hinderer, US knifemaker (who designs folding knives which sell for over $600 USD) and the Gerber design team.

It took a fire fighter/EMT with a genius for knife design to conceive this feature-rich rescue knife. And Rick Hinderer did himself proud. He integrated some of the most important features a fire fighter will need. Even while wearing turn-out gloves, using this knife will not be an issue. The knife has larger, beefier features and mechanisms built-in. This is no ordinary rescue knife.

Engineered for those brave souls running into danger, this beefy knife can be handled in turn-out gloves and operated in confidence with life-saving features. Integrating some of the most important features for emergency professionals, it has a hook cutter for cutting seatbelts and clothing quicker than trauma shears, a window punch, and an oxygen tank valve opening key on the back of the knife.

It also comes with a durable Gerber pouch, a screwdriver set (which fits in the pouch)

By purchasing this knife, you agree that you are aged 18 years and older.

Buyer is responsible for safe and legal use once it leaves our warehouse.

    Very Handy

Posted by Steve B. on 31st Dec 2018

Knife is very handy and useful for day to day activities as a firefighter. I have used this tool to open locked doors, break windows, cut seat belts, cut ropes of different sizes, and many many more things.
