Shipping & Returns

We pride ourselves on quick delivery and excellent customer service. Most orders are shipped from our Gold Coast, QLD warehouse.

We aim to have your order delivered within 2-3 business days. 

 

Australia Wide Standard Delivery- Aramex/ Australia Post/ Local courier - $10 per order. We ship with the fastest service, based on your location and order size. 1-3 days for most Australian Metro Cities. We can ship to PO Boxes using Parcel Post services.

Australia Wide Express Delivery- Express Post, TNT/ FedEx. Generally next business day delivery to Capital Cities. Express Post Service Network . Make sure you check stock availability with us before ordering if you are in a rush 1300 515 662. 

New Zealand Express Shipping- FedEx (2-3 Days to Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton etc). Up to 2.5kgs per order.

International- Price on Application (use the contact form below for a price)

We are proud to work with award winning courier network Aramex. All shipments are insured up to $1500 (excess payable by customer).

Standard shipping is sent as "Authority To Leave" by default and will be left on your doorstep (less than $200), letterbox or behind a planter pot if you are not home. You must include in the order notes should you require signature on delivery or for the item to be left in a particular place. Once your order is marked as "delivered", it is your responsibility.

For your security, we send orders over $200 as signature only and will require you to arrange re-delivery or collect from your closest newsagent or the courier depot if you aren't home.

Please read the calling card that is left at your front door and follow the instructions.

Rural and remote areas are shipped via Australia Post. They generally deliver parcels quicker in regional areas anyway. As you will already know, your order will take an extra few days to get to you from the closest "big" city.

Regional Towns QLD/NSW/VIC 2-10 Business Days (Usually sent via Australia Post as it will be quicker)

Auckland/ Wellington/Christchurch- 2-3 Business Days (via FedEx)

Pacific Islands/ Rest of the World* -2-10 Business Days (via FedEx/ TNT at cost). Contact us for a shipping quote.

 

2. Returns

 

 2.1 Return Due To Change Of Mind- 30 days for unopened items. Customer pays shipping costs + fees.

Mrs says you can't keep your new toy? Hardcore Security Equipment will happily accept returns due to change of mind as long as a request to return is received by us within 30 days of receipt of item and are returned to us in original packaging, unused and in re-sellable condition.

Opened or incomplete returns may receive UP TO a 50% refund, at our discretion, depending on the condition of the equipment. 

Return shipping will be paid at the customers expense. We recommend Pack and Send stores and Australia Post. 

We will give you a store credit or refund to your credit card at our discretion, less shipping costs and credit card merchant fees. The banks may take a couple of days to refund the money to you after we put in the refund request with them.

2.2 Warranty Returns- Advertised period for the product or 30 days from shipping.
Hardcore Security Equipment will happily honor any valid warranty claims, provided a claim is submitted within 30 days of receipt of items OR is within the advertised warranty period. Please let us know of the product defect and your intentions in writing. You can use the form below or our contact page if you wish.

Just as in any retail store, where you need to drive back to the shop and take it to the counter, You will need to return the faulty item to us at your cost. We recommend using Australia Post, or contact us and we will email you a courier label to print out and stick on the box. The return address is:

Upon return receipt of items for warranty claim, you can expect Hardcore Security Equipment to action your warranty claim within 4 days with the manufacturer. 
Once warranty claim is confirmed (which may take several weeks, depending on the manufacturer), you will receive the choice of:

(a) a replacement item sent to you via express shipping, at our cost (if stock is available)

(b) a refund in store credit for an alternative product.
(c) a refund to your payment method 

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled: 

  • to cancel your service contract with us; and 
  • to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. 

You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time.

If this is not done you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.

 

*We wont ship to Nigeria, other African States (apart from South Africa), or Pakistan due to high levels of fraudulent orders.
